Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 7, 2026
Please read these terms carefully before using DogMethod or purchasing a training plan.
Important safety & professional advice notice
DogMethod plans are personalized educational guides intended to support general dog training at home. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment, or an in-person behavioral assessment by a qualified trainer or behaviorist.
DogMethod does not provide medical, veterinary, or emergency advice. We are not veterinarians, certified behaviorists, or licensed animal professionals.
You are solely responsible for your dog's safety, welfare, and training decisions. You must use your own judgment when applying any guidance from the Service and should stop any activity that puts your dog, yourself, or others at risk.
If your dog shows aggression, intense reactivity, fear, pain, injury, or any behavior that may pose a risk to people or other animals, you should seek help from a qualified professional in person without delay.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DogMethod accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, or outcome arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any plan content. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DogMethod website at dogmethod.co and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by DogMethod ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, completing an assessment, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What DogMethod provides
DogMethod provides personalized, digital dog training plans generated based on information you submit about your dog (such as breed, age, behavior, and training history). Plans may include daily tasks, guidance, progress tracking, and related digital content.
The Service is delivered online. After purchase, you receive access to your plan through your account on the Service. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, access is provided as a one-time purchase with ongoing access to the purchased plan.

4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service. By using DogMethod, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide about yourself and your dog is accurate and complete.
5. Accounts and access
You may need an account to access purchased plans. Accounts are linked to the email address you provide. We use passwordless sign-in (magic links) sent to that email.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account and for all activity that occurs through your DogMethod account. Do not share sign-in links or allow others to access your account without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused or these Terms have been violated.
6. Purchases and payment
Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the amount shown.
All fees are stated in the currency displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges imposed by your payment provider or local authorities, unless we state otherwise.
Digital products are made available after successful payment and plan generation. Access may require you to sign in with the email used at purchase.
7. Refund policy
We want you to feel confident trying DogMethod. If you are not satisfied with your purchased plan, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by replying to your purchase receipt or contacting us at hello@dogmethod.co with the email used at checkout.
Refunds are provided at our discretion in line with this policy and applicable consumer protection laws. Once a refund is issued, access to the associated plan may be revoked.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law in your country of residence.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, text, graphics, branding, and plan content (except information you submit), is owned by DogMethod or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
When you purchase a plan, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use that plan for your own household training purposes. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit our content except as expressly permitted.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract source code or plan content at scale
- Share purchased plans publicly or resell access to others
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful information
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the Service
10. Privacy
We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes information you submit in assessments, account details, purchase records, plan progress, and technical usage data.
We do not sell your personal information. For full details on what we collect, how we use it, your rights, and how to contact us, see our Privacy Policy at dogmethod.co/privacy.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any training approach will work for every dog.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DogMethod and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service or a purchased plan will not exceed the amount you paid us for that plan in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DogMethod from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your dog training activities, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
16. General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DogMethod regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may give you additional rights.
17. Contact
